Terms of Sale
PRICES:
All prices are F.O.B. Myrdal Orthopedic Technologies location, unless otherwise specified. Taxes are not included in our pricing and will be added to your invoice if applicable. Prices will be provided in country of origin and are subject to change without notice. Custom devices supplied by Myrdal Orthopedic Technologies are zero rated for tax purposes if being supplied from a physician’s prescription. Applicable taxes in region delivered are the responsibility of the customer.
WARRANTY/REPAIRS:
Custom orthopedic devices fabricated completely (components included) by Myrdal Orthopedic Technologies (MOT) are warranted for a period of three months from the delivery date. Articles sent in for non-warranty repair are covered for a period of two months from the repair date. MOT will deal with any manufacturer’s warranty on products supplied by MOT. Any unauthorized repairs, deviation from directions or modifications will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Please provide all serial numbers, purchase date, and our invoice number when making a claim. Note: All orthopedic appliances sold by MOT are the ultimate responsibility of the person or persons, proprietorship or corporation that supplies the product to the end user. MOT will accept no liable responsibilities for products being dispensed to the aforementioned end user.
NEW ACCOUNTS:
All orders will be shipped C.O.D. unless credit has been established. To open an account with us please supply three trade credit references and the name and address of your financial institution. You will be notified as to your credit status as soon as possible.
TERMS:
Net 30 days, 1 1/2 % per month service charge on overdue accounts will be charged. Please refer to our invoice number with your payment remittance. While a purchase order number is not necessary, their use promotes the capability of accurate tracking shipments and are preferred.
RETURNS:
Authorization for return of regular stock items in saleable condition must be requested within 2 (Two) days of receipt of order. Freight expense will be the customer’s responsibility unless MOT has made an error. Special order items are not returnable unless we have made an error in your specifications. A copy of our invoice or packing slip must accompany all returns. A re-stocking charge of 25% may apply if deemed necessary.
CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES:
These are usually the responsibility of the delivering carrier. Make sure to save shipping cartons and packing materials for inspection. Please do not return merchandise but notify us at once (not later than 2 (Two) days from receipt of order), and we will provide you with all the necessary procedures to make a damage claim.
FOREIGN ACCOUNTS:
Confirmed irrevocable Letter of Credit, Bank Draft, or payment in full in advance. All orders will be shipped (only) after foreign checks have cleared the bank.
MINIMUM ORDER:
Our minimum order is $75.00.

Our products are used on a daily basis in many prosthetic and orthotic facilities and have proven themselves internationally.
